Australian actor Mat Stevenson adopted his transgender daughter’s best friend when her father rejected her for transitioning. The Former Home And Away star’s transgender daughter, Grace Hyland, gender was embraced by her father when she was a child. He couldn’t just stand by and watch her daughter’s best friend suffer.

In embracing Grace and Bambi’s authentic self’ Stevenson has elevated himself to rock star status giving our entire worldwide community hope.

Stevenson, Perth Now reports is known for playing Adam Cameron on the soap during the 1990s and has also appeared in Aussie classics Blue Heelers, Neighbours and Offspring — appeared in a TikTok video alongside the two young girls, including daughter Grace Hyland, celebrating Belle Bambi’s adoption.

It comes after Stevenson revealed to The Project his own daughter Hyland’s journey in a sit down interview earlier this year.

“I came out at 12 and then I went through a gradual transition until I was 14, to grow my hair out, to get my name change sorted, to sort out my blockers,” Hyland said.

“And then by the time I was 14, I was fully presenting as Grace to the public and at school.”
