Dallas, TX. (PTG) Homicide detectives have released images of a car seen driving at a high rate of speed from the vicinity of the crime scene where a transgender woman was shot to death on August 7.
The transgender woman, identified by a local advocacy group as 44-year-old “Coco”, was a slight effervescent person who frequented the homeless encampments near Park Avenue.
Police said Ms. Coco was killed on August 7 just after 10 p.m. at the homeless encampment in the 500 block of Park Avenue.
This silver sedan fled the scene and went westbound on Marilla Street after the shooting, CBS11 reports. Dallas Fire and Rescue responded and transported Wortham to a local hospital where he died.
