Trans woman to compete in the Miss America Beauty Pageant

Kataluna Enriquez, an American woman with Filipino ancestry has won Miss Nevada USA, becoming the first transgender woman of color to compete in the Miss USA Beauty Pageant.

Miss USA 2021 will be the 70th edition of the Miss USA pageant. The competition will be held on November 29, 2021, at the Paradise Cove Theater of River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Asya Branch of Mississippi will crown her successor at the end of the event. The winner will go on to represent the United States at the Miss Universe 2021 competition.

Formerly owned by trump, the Miss USA Beauty Pageant is now under new ownership and management and is once again one of the most coveted titles in the pageant world.

Earlier this year Kataluna Enriquez in another first, won the Nevada Silver State Beauty Pageant giving her the opportunity to vie for Miss Nevada, which she won.

“We won’t be intimidated.”

Firefighters in Decatur, Georgia have determined that an October fire at QMed was intentionally set. QMed owner Dr. Izzy Lowell said the FBI is investigating the fire as a hate crime, and, “We will not stop providing life-saving care to our patients.” While the office is “completely destroyed,” Lowell said the clinic is seeing patients remotely.
