Texas Governor Greg Abbott has announced another ‘special’ session to begin on Saturday, Aug 7 in an effort to push through 17 right-wing bills targeting people’s health and welfare.
El diablo’s agenda includes yet another attempt at demonizing transgender youth by forcing them out of interscholastic sports.
Abbott didn’t include his highest personal priority, criminalizing trans youth healthcare and imprisoning trans parents as child abusers, but that’s not to say it won’t be broached time permitting.
It is also possible Abbott will bypass the legislature with his previously announced final “solution” to the transgender problem by issuing an executive order.
This second waste of taxpayers’ money includes an agenda item further punishing opposing political party members who have broken Quorum in a last-ditch effort to stop this fascist.

And a word of advice to anyone thinking of testifying against Abbott’s bills regardless if the Democrats decide to remain in DC during the special session. The devil and his minions have no compassion, no moral compass, and no one will be there to keep the discourse civil.
